HOUSE RULES
Taking a high intensity Pilates class? Bring your grip socks!
For hygienic reasons, grip socks must be worn during our high intensity pilates xBURN class. If you don't have a snazzy pair of your own, these are available for purchase in studio. You can also purchase a pair online or on the app, and they'll be ready for pick up in the studio.
Cancellations
X˙CORE classes fill up quickly and there are a limited number of spaces available in each class. Clients are responsible for canceling their class at least 12 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation or no show charge.
Classes cannot be rescheduled for a different class time past the 12 hour window.
**If you cancel less than 12 hours before the start of class: **
- For unlimited memberships, clients will incur a $15 Late Cancel fee.
- For limited memberships, the client will lose that session from their package.
- For class packs, the client will lose that session from their package.
The best way to avoid late cancellation fees is to keep an eye on your reservations, including your waitlisted classes, and cancel your own reservation as soon as you know you will not be able to attend. One penalty forgiveness per client every 90 days.
All members agree to the X˙CORE cancellation policy prior to taking class.
No Shows
If you do not attend a class you're enrolled in, you will incur a $25 No Show fee.
- For unlimited memberships, a $25 No Show fee will be charged.
- For limited memberships, the client will lose that session from their package. A $25 No Show fee will be charged.
- For class packs, the client will lose that session from their package. A $25 No Show fee will be charged.
All members agree to the X˙CORE cancellation and No Show policy prior to taking class.
Waitlist
We strongly recommend clients waitlist for classes.
If a spot opens 12+ hours before class, you're automatically added to the class and will receive an email. (Ensure you enable these emails in your account setup.)
If it is within the 12 hour window before the start of class, you will not be automatically added to class in case you can no longer make it. Instead you can check the roster by going to My Account. If a spot opened up, you can add yourself into the class.
Once you're off the waitlist, the 12 hour cancellation policy applies.
If you don't make it off the waitlist, your credit will automatically be returned to your account about 2 hours after class ends.
Text notifications
To receive text notifications when you are moved into class from the waitlist, you must have a phone number on file and be opted into SMS. To check your settings, go to Account > Communication Settings > toggle on Text Notifications.
Running Late
If you are new to X˙CORE... For new clients, we cannot allow participation once class starts. This is to ensure your safety and the experience for the rest of the class. New clients who do not arrive early will not be admitted into class. If you showed up and the instructor was not able to let you into class, email us and we'll credit the class back to your account.
If there are people on standby waiting for a machine... Clients who do not arrive by the start of class will forfeit their spot to someone on standby. If you showed up and your spot was given away to someone on standby, email us and we'll credit the class back to your account.
5 minute policy... Clients who arrive 5 minutes after the start of class will not be admitted into class. If you showed up and the instructor was not able to let you into class, email us and we'll credit the class back to your account.
These rules are created for safety reasons and out of respect for the instructor and the rest of the class. We appreciate your understanding.

It's my first xCLIMB (cardio) class, what should I bring?
- Arrival. Come 15 minutes before class to receive a proper introduction and setup to the machine. First time clients who arrive late will be re-scheduled for safety reasons and respect for the instructor and the rest of the class.
- Hydrate and Nourish. Given the high intensity and energy burned in this class, be sure to stay hydrated before and after class. Try not to eat a heavy meal, but rather a light snack or meal an hour before class starts.
- Water. We have a water machine to fill your water bottle. Please don't bring glass bottles for safety reasons.
- Towel. Hand towels are provided.
- Shoes. Your good ol' gym or running shoes will work just fine. As long as they are close-toed and without heels, you're golden.
- Clothes. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in, similar to what you wear to the gym.
- No Jewelry. Remove any jewelry as it can get caught on the machines.
- Your Smile and Positive Energy!
It's my first xBURN (pilates) class, what should I bring?

- Water. We have a water machine to fill your water bottle. Please don't bring glass bottles for safety reasons.
- Towel. You may get sweaty!
- Clothes. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in, similar to what you wear to the gym.

I've never taken pilates before, can you tell me a little about it?
X˙CORE trains and specializes in high intensity pilates - it is the best low impact, muscle-sculpting, core strength training workout designed for full body conditioning. This workout integrates the key elements of resistance and counter-resistance in a sequence that allows you to get the most out of each move. We utilize a time under tension method that encourages maximum exertion of one muscle group at a time that reduces the risk of injury, allowing individuals with injuries participate while challenging our professional athletes.
Do I need to take a Private class first?
xBURN STRENGTH
If you are new to high intensity pilates, this is entirely up to your own comfort level. It is not required to start with a private lesson. Our certified instructors are trained to teach groups of classes where each individual's fitness level varies and they will be able to modify exercises to meet your individual needs.
If you are recovering from an injury, have chronic pain, a severe medical condition, or new to working out, then we recommend taking a private lesson so we can provide a personal assessment and adjust to your fitness level. Please be sure your doctor has given you permission before undertaking any physical activity. Just keep in mind that classes can be intense without periods of rest and recovery. If you do not feel comfortable working out in a group setting, then we recommend starting with a private lesson or a Basics Class. Email info@xcorestudio.com to schedule private classes.
xCLIMB CARDIO
We do not offer individual xCLIMB classes. The classes are designed for communal training to allow for climbers to feed off the energy of each other. We do offer private group classes of 3 and more. Email info@xcorestudio.com for more information.
Refer to your home location on our website to see if your studio offers privates.
How often should I take class?
Our workouts are designed to work your body to muscle fatigue, at which point you need to rest. Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more, or less, time to recover. Most clients see transformational results within a month when they attend 3-5 times a week. Just be sure to allow your body to properly recover and repair. Listen to your body, it’s up to you!
I'm recovering from an injury, is your studio right for me?
We cannot give medical recommendations, please ask your doctor prior to taking class.
What if I'm pregnant?
All X˙CORE classes are known to have beneficial results to aide in pregnancies. However, always consult with your doctor before attending classes. For clients who are pregnant and new to either workout, we do not advise starting classes. Clients who have been regularly attending classes may continue working out with us, as long as they've received approval from their doctor. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Do you have lockers?
We have personal storage baskets to hold your personal belongings.
Are minors allowed to attend class?
Safety is our number one priority. Minors from 16-18 require a legal guardian to sign the waiver. All participants under 16 need to attend a private Pilates lesson before attending a group class. This allows us to evaluate their fitness capabilities and ensure they have the ability to safely perform the movements. For both workouts, the parent and guardian must be present.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes we do! You can choose the amount you want to give. Gift cards are available for purchase online or in the studio.
Visit the Buy page to purchase fixed amoutn gift cards.
