NUTRITION CHAT WITH TOPE

"Abs are made in the kitchen." "You are what you eat." blah blah blah.. We've all heard it before, and it's so much easier said than done, right!?

That said, food and nutrition IS incredibly important to being our best self, or to shed those lbs. (if that's your goal). We need to understand how food affects our bodies to effectively sustain healthy habits.

And voila! We're so lucky that one of our wonderful clients can help us! We teamed up with Tope, a certified dietician, to give us a chat about nutrition.

On Saturday, 2/8 at 11:30am, join us in the Pilates room for a 30 min "fireside chat" with Tope about the importance nutrition plays in achieving your goals.

About Tope!

"Tope is a life-long athlete and has played several sports throughout her life including collegiate tennis and she competed as an olympic level amateur boxer. While pursuing her amateur boxing career, Tope was also earning graduate degrees and completed her nutrition internship/residency program, which allowed her to explore her other passions in nutrition and health. Tope holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and graduate degrees in nutrition and a master of public health and she currently works as a pediatric clinical dietitian at Stanford Children’s Hospital where she specializes in pediatric oncology and genetic inborn errors of metabolism.

Tope is also an instructor at RockSalt Pilates and a boxing bootcamp instructor at 3rd Street Boxing Gym. She also aspires to be an xCLIMB instructor at X˙CORE someday soon! In addition to her role as an instructor, Tope is the registered dietitian nutritionist for 3rd Street Boxing Gym and created and founded their nutrition coaching program in January 2019, and she continues to work with clients at 3rd Street.

Tope offers several nutrition coaching packages to help you achieve your nutrition and overall health and wellness goals. She believes in and follows a holistic, scientific, evidence-based approach. One size does not fit all when it comes to diet and nutrition, which is why Tope will work with you to create your very own personalized plan. She will keep you accountable while helping you achieve realistic, sustainable, nutrition, health and wellness goals."
